Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure vacant units meet quality standards for re-leasing by performing technical and mechanical work. Responsibilities include completing make-ready tasks, caulking, painting, and ensuring safety compliance.

The role requires inspecting units, fixing issues, assisting with grounds and common areas, and maintaining documentation. The position is onsite with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Performs make-ready repairs to apartment homes per community checklist.
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage; repairs/replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up painting as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints curbs/signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.

Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready checklist and required maintenance documentation.
• Attend safety meetings and complete OSHA-related trainings.
• Respond to resident questions and handle maintenance-related complaints promptly.
