Job summary

Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC in Texas seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant units meet quality standards and turn quickly to market-ready condition. You will perform repairs, caulking, drywall checks, and paint touch-ups while supporting grounds maintenance and safety compliance.

Expect responsibilities that include completing make-ready checklists, using cost-conscious practices, and delivering responsive service to residents.

Qualifications

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Ensures apartment homes have been caulked and sealed around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and repairs or replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by supervision.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and uses materials efficiently.
• Completes make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation in a timely manner.
• Follows Greystar safety and risk-management policies and attends required training.
• Demonstrates strong customer service by addressing resident questions and concerns promptly.
