Job summary

Greystar is seeking a capable Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant units are turned quickly to market ready condition. You will perform repairs, inspections, drywall work, caulking, and painting while maintaining grounds and common areas in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in safety meetings, follow OSHA guidelines, and contribute to cost‑control efforts by using materials efficiently. This is a full‑time onsite role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform repairs and make‑ready tasks for vacant units.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to move‑in using the community make‑ready checklist.
• Ensure windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers are caulked and sealed as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace as required.
• Perform touch‑up painting on vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and minor landscaping tasks.
• Support cost control by using parts efficiently and avoiding waste.
