Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure vacant units are market-ready by performing repairs, painting, caulking, and inspections. The role includes upkeep of grounds and amenities, adherence to safety policies, and efficient completion of work orders for timely resident turnover.

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on maintenance and make-ready work for apartment homes.
• Ability to follow make-ready checklists and safety policies.
• Experience inspecting and repairing common areas, windows, plumbing and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs and improvements to vacant apartment homes prior to resident move-in.
• Ensures caulking and sealing around windows, sinks, toilets, baths and showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and repairs as needed.
• Performs touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-saving measures by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
