Job summary

Metrics LLC seeks a hands-on Program Manager to own the master schedule, manage change-control, and lead monthly reporting for a VA program focused on medical disability examinations. You will serve as the primary liaison between our team and VA leadership in a contingent role tied to contract award.

You will collaborate with analysts on data and dashboard work, direct SharePoint/Power BI development, and coordinate kickoff and after-action reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, information technology, engineering, or closely related field.
• At least 10 years of program or project management experience supporting U.S. federal government agencies.
• Active PMP certification (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule in Microsoft Project or comparable tool.
• Hands-on experience supporting a change-control or configuration control board: change packages, impact analyses, logs, minutes, action tracking.
• Hands-on data and reporting skills in Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or Access, plus advanced Excel.
• Working proficiency with SharePoint and directing SharePoint/Power Platform development.
• Experience as primary contractor contact for a federal contracting officer or COR, with accountability for written deliverables.
• Familiarity with FISMA and NIST RMF to track authorization milestones and flag risk.
• Must pass VA background investigation and VA cybersecurity/privacy training before starting.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule for all active projects; deliver monthly performance report.
• Support the government's Configuration Control Board: agendas, change packages, impact analyses, logs, minutes, actions to closure.
• Collaborate with data analysts on standing reports and ad hoc data requests using Tableau, Oracle BI, Python, Access, and Excel.
• Direct the SharePoint and Power BI developers on dashboard, tracker, and site projects; keep support log current.
• Lead the contract kickoff, write after-action reports within two business days of significant meetings, and compile Monthly Performance Summary Report with appendices.
• Maintain ATO milestones for vendor systems on the master schedule and run internal sessions with ATO specialists.
