Job summary

rockITdata is seeking an Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) to join a mission‑critical VA program. You will develop and maintain the master schedule across multiple workstreams, coordinating inputs from project managers and partners.

The role requires expertise in MS Project, PMBOK, EVM, and managing complex dependencies. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in federal program scheduling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to obtain a Level 3 Public Trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience as a scheduler or project controls analyst on federal programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK, EVM, and critical path method.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain a Level 3 Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for VA programs using MS Project or equivalent tools.
• Coordinate inputs from multiple project managers, functional leads, and external partners for schedule alignment.
• Identify and resolve schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and critical path risks.
• Conduct regular schedule status reviews with VA stakeholders and internal teams.
• Support integrated planning, EVM, and reporting to ensure schedule adherence.
• Generate and present schedule status reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Incorporate Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods into scheduling as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with VA PMAS, TMS, and other federal delivery frameworks.
