Job summary

TISTA Science and Technology Corporation, Rockville, MD, seeks a PMO Lead to run the PMO for the VA SCM DevSecOps program, coordinating with VA stakeholders and Agile teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and deliverables.

You will manage schedules, dashboards, and reporting pipelines, ensure policy compliance, and mentor staff while pursuing new opportunities. Federal PMO experience and Jira/Power BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of PMO or project management experience on federal IT contracts.
• 3+ years supporting Agile or SAFe teams with Jira administration and reporting.
• Experience creating federal contract documents (project plans, monthly status reports, staff rosters, risk registers).
• Ability to build enterprise dashboards and track delivery metrics (Agile and DORA) across tools like Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the master project schedule and track contract deliverables to ensure timely submission and approval.
• Identify and manage program risks and issues via weekly reviews, tracking mitigation plans, and risk alerts.
• Administer Jira, GitHub, SharePoint; build dashboards to monitor software delivery performance and Agile metrics.
• Create major progress reports, audit internal processes for quality, and ensure compliance with security, equipment, and travel policies.
• Coordinate quarterly Agile planning events (PI Planning) and maintain the strategic roadmap.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, staff rosters, and rapid onboarding of Scrum teams.
• Manage day-to-day activities for team leads, mentor junior staff, and assist recruiting to build a bench.
• Help expand the business account by identifying opportunities, building customer relationships, and supporting proposals.
• Share templates, SOPs, and lessons learned; support quality and process audits.
