Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a licensed NP/PA to review Veterans' records, perform VA General Medicine examinations, and complete DBQs in accordance with VA guidelines. You will document findings and prepare detailed medical reports while collaborating with clinical teams to ensure timely evaluations.

The ideal candidate holds an active, unrestricted NP or PA license with required collaborative agreement, strong assessment and documentation skills, and the ability to work independently within

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician, where required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently within approved clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and supporting documentation prior to each evaluation.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective, and detailed medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely completion of evaluations.
