Job summary

Sentinel Health Services is seeking licensed dentists to perform VA Compensation and Pension (C&P) dental examinations. You will work as an independent contractor in approved dental offices with reliable equipment and internet access.

Candidates should hold a DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program, maintain an active dental license, and ideally have 1–2 years of relevant VA experience. Flexible scheduling and locality near Veterans affairs facilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active dental license required.
• Minimum two years of clinical dental experience preferred.
• Experience with VA C&P or DBQ examinations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA C&P dental examinations on Veterans.
• Perform dental, TMJ and other disability examinations.
• Complete Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs) when requested.
• Review digital medical and dental records.
• Conduct comprehensive oral and dental evaluations based on disability claims.
• Review diagnostic imaging and supporting documentation as applicable.
• Complete VA DBQs and required examination documentation.
• Submit information through a secure online portal for VA review.
• Examinations occur at approved dental offices with proper equipment and internet access.
• Maintain a flexible schedule of 1–3 days per week to align with your patient schedule.
