Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking licensed Audiologists for VA Compensation & Pension evaluations in a fast-growing private-pay setting serving Veterans. This is a non-treatment, evaluation-focused role with flexible scheduling and in-person opportunities.

As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations, use DBQs and VA guidelines, gather patient history, perform testing, and prepare reports. A strong Au.D or equivalent and solid documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license required.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable performing objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus-related evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Utilize DBQs and standardized audiology testing protocols.
• Gather relevant history through focused interviews.
• Complete audiometric testing and clinical documentation.
• Prepare clear reports in VA-required formats.
• Maintain objectivity and unbiased assessments.
• Submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards.
