Empower Mental Health is seeking licensed audiologists to perform VA Compensation & Pension evaluations. This non-treatment role focuses on structured testing, documentation, and reporting for veterans.

The ideal candidate will conduct objective evaluations, adhere to VA formats, and maintain ethical standards. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for in-person work accompany this independent contractor position.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license required.
• Degrees/certifications listed (Au.D/M.S./M.A./PhD in Audiology or related field).
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills required.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable with objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Utilize DBQs and standardized testing protocols.
• Gather relevant history through focused interviews.
• Complete audiometric testing and clinical documentation as required.
• Prepare concise reports in VA formats.
• Maintain objectivity and avoid bias in assessments.
• Submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Adhere to ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
