Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed audiologist to conduct VA Compensation & Pension evaluations for Veterans. This non-treatment role emphasizes objective testing, thorough documentation, and VA-formatted reporting.

Flexible scheduling and a 1099 contract are offered, with in-person opportunities. The ideal candidate holds an Au.D. (or equivalent) and maintains neutrality while delivering accurate assessments.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license required.
• Ability to follow structured VA evaluation protocols.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Comfortable performing objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Use Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standard testing protocols.
• Gather history via focused, objective interviews.
• Prepare reports in VA-required formats with clarity and timeliness.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
