Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced licensed audiologist to conduct VA Compensation & Pension evaluations. This non-treating role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation with flexible scheduling and private-pay structure.

The ideal candidate holds Au.D or equivalent, an active license, and demonstrates ability to follow structured evaluation protocols, perform audiometric testing, and produce clear VA-formatted reports for Veteran benefits determinations.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license.
• Au.D or equivalent degree in Audiology or related field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Utilize DBQs and standardized testing protocols.
• Gather histories through focused interviews.
• Complete audiometric testing and documentation.
• Prepare clear VA-formatted reports.
• Maintain objectivity and timely submissions.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards.
