Job summary

Empower Mental Health in the United States is seeking an experienced licensed Audiologist to conduct VA Compensation & Pension evaluations. This is a non-treatment role focused on evaluation, testing, and documentation, with flexible scheduling and in-person opportunities.

You will perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines, utilize DBQs, gather history, complete audiometric testing, and prepare VA-formatted reports.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license and credentialing.
• Experience with VA C&P or disability evaluations preferred.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations based on VA guidelines.
• Utilize Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized audiology testing protocols.
• Gather relevant history through focused, objective interviews.
• Complete audiometric testing and related clinical documentation as required.
• Prepare clear, concise, and timely reports in VA-required formats.
• Provide factual, unbiased assessments without influencing outcomes.
• Complete and submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain clear boundaries between evaluation and treatment and confidentiality standards.
