Job summary

Covista is hiring a Military Student Finance Analyst to support military-affiliated students and VA education benefits, acting as a liaison between internal teams and external agencies to manage non-TIV funding in student accounts.

The role emphasizes compliance with VA, DoD, and federal requirements, accurate account management, and timely certification reporting. A detail-oriented professional will thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with Military Student Finance operations preferred.
• Familiarity with VA School Certification processes (GI Bill) and compliance preferred.
• Knowledge of TA and VA education benefits strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience with higher education systems and accounts receivable preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support to internal customers and external agencies via email, phone, Salesforce, and web conferencing.
• Collaborate to resolve student account balances and debt concerns.
• Process Direct Bill, VA education benefits, and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support VA School Certifying Official (SCO) activities and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with VA, DoD, and military funding guidelines.
• Maintain VA enrollment certifications and reporting per federal requirements.
• Identify process improvements in military student finance workflows.
• Attend team meetings and cross-functional projects.
• Meet SLAs and maintain high QA accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with team and leadership.
