Job summary

Hackensack Public Schools seeks a Teacher Leader to support Visual and Performing Arts across grades K-12. You will facilitate data-informed conversations, lead PLCs, and align instructional practices with district MTSS goals.

You will collaborate with building leaders and supervisors to design professional learning, coordinate with the Curriculum and Instruction team, and advance district priorities through structured planning, data analysis, and shared leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of district curriculum and New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
• Ability to analyze and translate student data into instructional actions.
• Experience leading district-level Professional Learning Communities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across K-12 teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured data conversations and guide colleagues on instructional next steps.
• Plan and facilitate grade-level meetings and department meetings across K-12.
• Support MTSS implementation with professional learning and data use.
• Coordinate with directors to establish priorities and schedules.
• Maintain time records and documentation of planning and outcomes.
