Qualifications

• Currently employed as a teacher in Hackensack Public Schools with a valid New Jersey instructional certificate appropriate to the assigned position.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of district curriculum and New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
• Shows ability to analyze student achievement data and translate findings into instructional next steps.
• Experience leading professional learning communities and collaborative planning.
• Understands MTSS and differentiated instruction within K–4 settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured data conversations using district protocols and schedules.
• Guide colleagues in examining student data, assessments, and work to determine instructional next steps.
• Plan and facilitate grade-level meetings and PLCs for K–4 assignments and departmental meetings for grades 5–12.
• Collaborate with instructional leadership to plan professional learning aligned to district initiatives.
• Support MTSS implementation through professional learning and data use.
