Job summary

Responsibilities include leading data conversations, facilitating PLCs, coordinating professional learning, supporting MTSS, and aligning district priorities with instructional practice.

Qualifications

• Currently employed as a teacher in Hackensack Public Schools with NJ instructional certificate.
• Strong knowledge of district curriculum, NJ Student Learning Standards, and evidence-based practices.
• Understanding of standards-aligned formative and summative assessment methods.
• Ability to analyze student achievement and guide teams to instructional next steps.
• Understanding MTSS tiers and how screening and progress monitoring inform decisions.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction for diverse learners.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to build professional relationships.
• Ability to facilitate collaborative conversations and guide teams using protocols.
• Experience contributing to Professional Learning Communities and collaborative planning.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and district MTSS procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates professional judgment and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate grade-level meetings and PLCs aligned to district initiatives.
• Lead structured data conversations examining achievement, growth, and student work.
• Gather educator feedback and communicate professional learning needs.
• Coordinate with Teacher Leaders to connect across buildings and departments.
• Maintain time records and documentation of planning and actions.
• Support MTSS implementation through professional learning.
