Job summary

Demil Transport Services LLC in the United States seeks an UXO Technician I to provide technical support for ordnance response projects, perform reconnaissance, classify, dispose of UXO, transport and store ordnance, and plan range clearance operations.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work outdoors in extreme weather, strict explosives safety, and the willingness to learn MEC-related procedures and operate safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a military EOD School or DDESB UXO-TI course.
• Graduate of an OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER course (annual refresher).
• Must pass biannual OSHA physical for work release.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reconnaissance and classification of UXO.
• Identify munitions and related components.
• Transport and store UXO and demolition materials.
• Prepare firing systems and dispose of ordnance by burning or detonation.
• Demilitarize actions in accordance with DoD directives.
