Job summary

Demil Transport Services LLC in Gila Bend, AZ seeks a UXO Technician I to support ordnance response projects, perform reconnaissance, classify UXO, and assist in disposal and transport of munitions in compliance with DoD and safety protocols.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions, and familiarity with magnetometers and demil systems. Training prerequisites include EOD school or UXO-TI course and OSHA HazWoper certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a military EOD School or UXO-TI course.
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification with annual refresh.
• Biannual OSHA medical clearance/work release.
• Ability to identify basic munitions types and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assist reconnaissance and classification of UXO and munitions.
• Locate UXO using magnetometers and assist excavation.
• Transport/store UXO and dispose of ammunition by detonation.
• Perform demilitarization per DoD directives and tool disposal prep.
