WSP USA seeks a Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Technician II to support munitions response and range clearance activities across multiple U.S. locations, including St. Louis, MO.

The role involves detecting, recovering, and disposing of UXO and MEC with strict safety and regulatory compliance. Travel to field sites is required as projects demand. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of EOD/UXO experience, a current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certificate, and the ability to work in remote field environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of EOD/UXO experience.
• US citizenship is required.
• HazWoper certification with annual refresher.
• Ability to travel for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Reconnaissance, identification and classification of UXO.
• Subsurface UXO investigations using approved equipment.
• Excavation and recovery of buried UXO.
• Search and identify surface UXO through field reconnaissance.
• Maintain safe holding areas for recovered UXO.
• Handle and store UXO and demolition materials per requirements.
• Prepare disposal sites and support demolition operations.
• Assemble firing systems for UXO disposal.
• Dispose of UXO through approved methods.
• Follow health and safety requirements and project procedures.
• Support technical documentation and field reporting.
