Job summary

Stryker is seeking a UX/UI Designer to define, design, and document user experience and interface elements across web and mobile products. You’ll translate product and user needs into intuitive flows, scalable UI patterns, and well-documented design system assets—working closely with engineering and a broad set of partners.

Applicants should have 5+ years of end-to-end UX/UI design experience, 3+ years building design systems, and 1+ year using AI tools in design workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end UX/UI product design experience with a portfolio.
• 3+ years building and maintaining design systems across products or teams.
• 1+ year using AI tools in design workflows, including how AI agents consume design assets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic/Visual Design, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end UX/UI product design: user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI for web and mobile.
• Define and document user-interface behavior (navigation, notifications, alerts, icons, and more).
• Build and evolve design systems with engineering in close partnership.
• Advocate for the end user and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concepts through launch.
• Work independently at times to document, implement, troubleshoot, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
