Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a UX Strategy Manager to lead a team of researchers and designers across digital experiences, including websites, fleet management, and ecommerce. You will own the UX vision, organize and prioritize the team's backlog, and ensure cohesive branding across apps to improve customer experience and online sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, User Interface Design or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years leading UX/UI teams.
• Minimum of 7 years designing mobile-friendly, responsive B2B and B2C eCommerce websites.
• Strong portfolio showing large-scale digital redesigns.
• Experience with usability testing practices and methodologies.
• Experience with web front-end development, HTML/CSS.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and experience of websites and digital products within scope of the Digital Office, including global website and other digital applications.
• Lead, coach, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of UX/UI designers and researchers.
• Define and develop big-picture UX/UI strategy with executive leadership, product management.
• Own the UX team backlog and identify initiatives to lead and partner on.
• Develop engagement and UX discovery plans for new initiatives.
• Host workshops with product and technical teams to drive customer-centric innovation.
• Own a federated design system ensuring brand consistency across products.
• Establish and maintain best practices for user research and testing.
• Advocate for UX practices within digital and product strategy.
