Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Lead UX Researcher to drive enterprise-level research strategy and governance across portfolios. You will design AI-supported workflows, mentor senior researchers, and influence executive decisions with evidence-driven insights.

The role emphasizes scalable research operations, collaboration with Research Ops, and development of longitudinal insight systems. Hybrid work with significant travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ related field experience, or equivalent combinations.
• Mastery of core user research methods and advanced techniques.
• Experience shaping research strategy for large enterprises.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills at executive levels.
• Strong privacy, compliance, and ethical research understanding.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-level research systems, taxonomies, and insight lifecycle.
• Lead multi-portfolio programs informing strategic product investments.
• Identify enterprise-wide user problems and opportunities across ecosystems.
• Set standards for research quality, ethics, privacy, and governance.
• Develop AI-native research tools and automation pipelines.
• Partner with Research Operations on governance, tooling decisions.
• Lead alignment conversations across product, design, analytics, and engineering.
• Build longitudinal insight systems to reveal trends across quarters and years.
