Job summary

Cadmus seeks a UX Researcher to drive user-centered product decisions across federal projects. You will conduct research, run usability studies, synthesize insights, and present findings to stakeholders, shaping product direction and user experience improvements.

You will partner with design, engineering, and product teams to define problems, plan research activities, and create artifacts like personas and journey maps that communicate user needs clearly.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional UX research experience.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to present insights to diverse audiences.
• Experience with diverse UX research tools, remote testing tools, and online collaboration tools.
• Experience planning and executing end-to-end qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews, usability tests, surveys).

Responsibilities

• Partner with design, engineering, product teams, clients, and stakeholders to define problems and drive user-centered decisions.
• Support deep strategic thinking grounded in client and user discovery and research.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to inform product direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in iterative product discovery and delivery cycles.
• Create research plans, personas, journey maps, and artifacts communicating user needs.
