URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a UX Researcher to work with the UX Research team, UX Designers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders.

The role focuses on qualitative and quantitative research to improve digital product experiences across consumer websites, apps, and retail systems. Responsibilities include leading studies end-to-end, presenting findings, and partnering with data teams to align insights across initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of user research.
• Foundational understanding of web and mobile technologies.
• Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple ongoing projects.
• Ability to independently analyze data and construct a clear, evidence-based narrative.
• Proven ability to articulate and communicate ideas to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage most research studies end-to-end for major methodologies.
• Identify research opportunities and enable better service to customers and stakeholders.
• Select appropriate methodologies for research questions.
• Plan projects, dependencies, and execution.
• Communicate research plans and maintain stakeholder updates.
• Design and execute usability tests, tree tests, card sorts, IDIs, surveys, intercepts, competitive analyses, and contextual inquiries for web, mobile, and cross-channel experiences.
• Analyze data and translate into actionable business findings.
• Construct a narrative arc based on data and business needs.
• Deliver all studies on time.
• Prepare reports and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Present findings to stakeholders.
• Write succinct summaries of research for broad audiences.
• Collaborate with data partners to align testing strategies.
