Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a UX/UI Designer who will bring the Digital Experience roadmap to life across web and app, from core shopping journeys to content and brand experiences. This role blends user-centered thinking, data insights and strong visual craft to deliver seamless, on-brand digital journeys, working with Testing, Personalization, Content, Creative and URBN Technology.

You will design end-to-end features, prototype for A/B tests, evolve the design system and ensure accessibility,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of UX/UI design experience with e-commerce and/or fashion web/app work.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of responsive, mobile-first design and WCAG accessibility.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Experience designing for A/B tests or using performance data to iterate.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design for Digital Experience roadmap initiatives across the full funnel path, prioritizing the browse path across web and app.
• Own end-to-end design of assigned digital products and features from concept to execution.
• Provide design input on effort and feasibility to support roadmap planning alongside Testing and Product Copy Operations.
• Conduct and apply user research, usability testing and data insights to inform design decisions.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data (heatmaps, session recordings, surveys) to identify friction points.
• Partner with Testing to shape research findings into testable hypotheses for the A/B calendar.
• Design and prototype variants for A/B and multivariate tests and iterate based on results.
• Deliver test-ready design assets on committed timelines to support velocity goals.
• Drive concepting and experience ideation, and tailor content by customer segment with Personalization teams.
• Stay ahead of trends to keep Urban Outfitters at the forefront of digital retail and explore AI-enabled design workflows.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, create wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, and ensure WCAG compliance.
• Support site replatform projects translating existing experiences into the new platform.
• Partner with URBN Technology and cross-brand teams to maintain consistency across URBN brands.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and champion design thinking within the team.
