Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Sr. UX Researcher to lead research activities across Public Safety, Civilian, and Vital Core portfolios within Government Solutions UX.

You will translate findings into actionable product recommendations, collaborate with design, product, engineering, customer success, and sales teams, and mentor junior researchers while contributing to accessibility and VPAT/ACR efforts. This role may involve both remote and in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant user research, UX, or related experience.
• Experience applying multiple UX research techniques across contexts.
• Ability to analyze findings and translate to practical solutions.
• Experience presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to create research outputs and wireframes when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research across Public Safety, Civilian, and Vital Core products.
• Plan conduct interviews, usability studies, field research, and journey mapping.
• Develop understanding of customer use cases, market segments, and regulators.
• Translate findings into actionable product recommendations and design improvements.
• Present insights to stakeholders and share learnings across the org.
• Partner with UX designers to inform the design process with feedback.
• Create research docs, wireframes, workflows, prototypes, and interactions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams.
• Support demonstrations, beta programs, and feedback initiatives.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative data to guide testing strategy.
• Use remote, in-person, moderated, and unmoderated research contexts.
• Utilize tools like FullStory, Crazy Egg, and Userlytics.
• Mentor junior researchers and strengthen research practices.
• Contribute to VPATs and ACRs for accessibility compliance.
