Job summary

RELX INC is seeking a Sr. UX Researcher to support Government Solutions UX across Public Safety, Civilian, and Vital Core portfolios.

You will lead research, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and work with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver user‑centered solutions. The role requires 6–8 years of user research experience, with hands‑on capabilities in interviews, usability studies, journey mapping, and accessibility considerations, plus mentoring junior

Qualifications

6–8 years of relevant user research, UX, product design, or related experience.
Experience applying multiple UX research techniques and selecting appropriate approaches.
Experience presenting research insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead user research activities across Public Safety, Civilian, and Vital Core products.
Plan and conduct customer interviews, usability studies, field research, journey mapping, and product validation.
Gather and develop understanding of customer use cases, market segments, competitors, and regulatory environment.
Translate research findings into actionable product recommendations, design improvements and future research strategies.
Present findings to stakeholders and share insights across the organization.
Partner with UX designers to ensure feedback informs the design process.
Create research documentation, analysis outputs, wireframes, workflows, prototypes, and interaction designs.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and technology teams.
