Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Sr. UX Researcher to lead user research across multiple government-focused portfolios. You will translate findings into actionable recommendations and support hands-on design when needed.

You will collaborate with design, product, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver user-centered solutions while contributing to accessibility initiatives and VPAT/ACR documentation.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant user research, UX, product design, or related experience.
• Experience with customer interviews, usability studies, field research, journey mapping, and product validation.
• Ability to analyze research findings and recommend practical solutions.
• Experience presenting research insights to stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, UX or related discipline preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research across Public Safety, Civilian, and Vital Core portfolios.
• Plan and conduct customer interviews, usability studies, field research, journey mapping, and product validation activities.
• Translate research findings into actionable product recommendations and design improvements.
• Partner with UX designers, product, engineering, customer success, and sales to align solutions with customer needs.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to accessibility reviews and compliance documentation.
