Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a User Experience Designer to design and improve digital experiences for Ford owners. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Analytics, and Design teams to translate customer needs into accessible, polished interfaces.

You will contribute across the design process, from exploring problems to prototyping, validation, delivery, and post-launch improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 2–4 years of UX/digital design experience including internships or projects.
• Portfolio demonstrating design process and contributions to digital experiences.
• Experience using design and prototyping tool such as Figma.
• Working knowledge of interaction design, visual design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine Ford.com experiences to help Owners find vehicle information, understand features, access services, and stay connected.
• Translate customer problems and product requirements into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs.
• Explore design options, communicate trade-offs, and incorporate feedback from customers and cross-functional partners.
• Create prototypes at appropriate fidelity to test assumptions and support decisions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to balance customer value, business goals, accessibility, and feasibility.
• Use Ford’s design system and contribute to reusable patterns across Ford.com.
• Support design delivery and collaborate with engineering to clarify design intent and implementation details.
