Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a User Experience Designer to shape digital experiences for Ford owners. You’ll work with product, engineering, research, content, analytics, and design partners to turn customer needs into accessible interfaces across Ford.com.

From exploring problems to prototyping, validation, delivery, and post-launch improvement, you’ll own well-scoped design work, collaborate across disciplines, and advance your craft while applying Ford’s design system.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–4 years of experience in UX, product, interaction, or digital design.
• A portfolio demonstrating your design process and contributions to digital experiences.
• Experience using a design and prototyping tool such as Figma.
• Working knowledge of interaction design, visual design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility.
• Ability to communicate design ideas and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
• An iterative approach to feedback, learning, and changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design Ford.com experiences to help Owners find vehicle information, understand features, access services, and stay connected with Ford.
• Translate customer problems and product requirements into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs.
• Explore design options, communicate trade-offs, and incorporate feedback from customers and cross-functional partners.
• Create prototypes at the appropriate level of fidelity to test assumptions, gather feedback, and support design decisions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to balance customer value, business goals, accessibility, and technical feasibility.
• Use Ford’s design system and contribute to consistent, reusable patterns across Ford.com.
• Support design delivery and collaborate with engineering partners to clarify design intent and implementation details.
