Job summary
Ford Motor Company is seeking a User Experience Designer to shape digital experiences for Ford vehicle owners. You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Analytics, and Design partners to translate customer needs into accessible interfaces.
You’ll guide the design process from concepts to prototyping, validation, delivery, and post-launch improvements. Responsibilities include designing Ford.com experiences, creating user journeys and prototypes, and partnering with teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in UX, interaction design, product design, or related field; equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine Ford.com experiences for Owners to find information, understand features, access services and stay connected.
- Translate problems into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes and interface designs.
- Explore options, communicate trade-offs, incorporate feedback from customers and cross-functional partners.
- Create prototypes to test assumptions and inform design decisions.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to balance customer value, business goals, accessibility, and feasibility.
- Use Ford’s design system to ensure consistent, reusable patterns.
