Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a User Experience Designer to shape the digital experiences for Ford vehicle owners. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Analytics, and Design partners to translate customer needs into clear, accessible interfaces.

You will drive design from problem discovery through prototyping, validation, delivery, and post-launch improvements, while leveraging AI-enabled tools with rigorous review for accuracy, accessibility, and brand fit.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in UX, product, interaction, or digital design.
• A portfolio showing your design process and contributions to digital experiences.
• Experience using a design and prototyping tool such as Figma.
• Working knowledge of interaction design, visual design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility.
• Ability to communicate design ideas and collaborate across disciplines.
• An iterative approach to feedback, learning, and changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine Ford.com experiences that help Owners find vehicle information, understand features, access services, and stay connected with Ford.
• Translate customer problems and product requirements into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs.
• Explore design options, communicate trade-offs, and incorporate feedback from customers and cross-functional partners.
• Create prototypes at the appropriate level of fidelity to test assumptions, gather feedback, and support design decisions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to balance customer value, business goals, accessibility, and technical feasibility.
• Use Ford’s design system and contribute to consistent, reusable patterns across Ford.com.
• Support design delivery and collaborate with engineering partners to clarify design intent and implementation details.
