Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a User Experience Designer to design and improve digital experiences for Ford vehicle owners. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Analytics, and Design partners to understand customer needs and translate them into accessible experiences.

You will contribute from problem exploration to prototyping, validation, delivery, and post-launch improvement, owning well-scoped design work and advancing your craft in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–4 years of experience in UX, product, interaction, or digital design.
• Portfolio demonstrating your design process and contributions to digital experiences, including framing problems, exploring options, using feedback, and developing solutions.
• Experience using a design and prototyping tool such as Figma.
• Working knowledge of interaction design, visual design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility.
• Ability to communicate design ideas and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
• An iterative approach to feedback, learning, and changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine Ford.com experiences to help Owners find vehicle information, understand features, access services, and stay connected.
• Translate customer problems into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs.
• Explore design options, communicate trade-offs, and incorporate feedback from customers and cross-functional partners.
• Create prototypes to test assumptions, gather feedback, and support design decisions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to balance customer value, business goals, accessibility, and feasibility.
• Use Ford’s design system to contribute to consistent, reusable patterns across Ford.com.
• Support design delivery and collaborate with engineering to clarify design intent and implementation details.
