CACI International Inc. is seeking a thoughtful UX Designer to support the DHS OIG.

You will craft interfaces that connect a secure enterprise AI and data platform to investigators, auditors, and inspectors, designing the data platform landing page and portal as the single entry for data resources, access, dashboards, and training materials. You will lead UI improvements for OIGChat, prototype AI applications, and establish a platform design system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of experience in UX design or related field; equivalents considered.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end design of complex enterprise or data-heavy apps.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and prototyping.
• Experience designing accessible interfaces to WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508.

Responsibilities

• Design the DHS OIG data platform landing page and portal as a single entry point for data resources and dashboards.
• Improve OIGChat UI with conversational flows, prompts, responses, and guardrail messaging.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for AI applications and investigative workflows.
• Establish and maintain a platform design system including components, typography, color, and icons.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers to design dashboards and data visualizations for audit and investigative audiences.
• Ensure accessibility across all interfaces, including charts and tables, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support.
• Translate research findings into design decisions through Agile sprints with Government Product Owners.
• Develop visual assets for adoption kits, quick references, training materials, and role-based content.
• Partner with Full Stack Developers on handoff and QA to keep implemented interfaces faithful to design.
• Document design rationale, patterns, and style guidelines for onboarding and sustainment.
