Job summary

CACI International seeks a strategic Lead Engineer - Platform to steer the design and implementation of an enterprise AI and data analytics platform for the DHS OIG. You’ll drive cloud architecture across Azure Government and Azure Commercial, shaping secure, scalable solutions and integrating OIG Chat with Azure OpenAI services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with extensive cloud/platform leadership experience.
• Proven track record architecting enterprise-scale cloud platforms and AI infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in Azure services and federal cloud environments (Azure Government, Azure Commercial).
• Experience and comfort with security, compliance, FedRAMP/ATO processes, and cross-team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of DHS OIG AI platform capabilities including OIG Chat and Azure OpenAI integrations.
• Design secure connection patterns between Azure Government and Azure Commercial services with compliance focus.
• Provide technical leadership for enterprise data platform, analytics, and AI/ML infrastructure.
• Estimate scope and feasibility for platform enhancements and architectural decisions.
• Coordinate platform-level decisions across AI apps, data pipelines, security, and cloud services.
• Configure cloud infra for AI apps including compute, storage, networking, identity, and API management.
