Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a User Experience Designer to shape digital experiences for Ford owners. You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Analytics, and Design to translate user needs into clear, accessible interfaces.

You will own well-scoped design work through the full lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch improvement, and you’ll apply AI-enabled tools thoughtfully with rigorous review for accuracy and brand fit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX, interaction design, product design, HCI, visual design, or related field.
• Portfolio showing design process and contributions to digital experiences.
• Experience with Figma for design and prototyping.
• Knowledge of interaction design, visual design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility.
• Ability to communicate design ideas and collaborate across disciplines.
• Iterative approach to feedback and changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine Ford.com experiences to help Owners find information, understand features, access services, and stay connected.
• Translate customer problems and product requirements into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs.
• Explore design options, communicate trade-offs, and incorporate feedback from customers and cross-functional partners.
• Create prototypes at appropriate fidelity to test assumptions and inform decisions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to balance customer value, business goals, accessibility, and feasibility.
• Use Ford’s design system and contribute to consistent, reusable patterns across Ford.com.
• Support design delivery and collaborate with engineering to clarify design intent and implementation details.
