Job summary
Ford Motor Company is seeking a User Experience Designer to design and improve digital experiences for Ford owners. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Analytics, and Design teams to translate customer needs into intuitive interfaces and journeys.
You will work through the full design process from exploration to prototyping, validate ideas with users, and deliver polished interfaces.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in UX, interaction design, product design, HCI, visual design, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in UX, product, or digital design.
- Portfolio showing design process and outcomes.
- Experience using a design and prototyping tool such as Figma.
- Working knowledge of accessibility, usability, and information architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine Ford.com experiences for Owners to access vehicle information and services.
- Translate customer problems into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
- Create prototypes and test assumptions to support design decisions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to balance user value, business goals, and feasibility.
- Review AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, accessibility, and brand fit.
