Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Distribution Work Planner to join our field team. This role involves outdoor vegetation work, safety oversight, and coordination with customers and contractors. A strong focus on adaptability and communication is essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage field operations, safety compliance, and data recording while supporting customers and stakeholders in utility vegetation management projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification, hazard assessment, and vegetation management practices.
• Ability to hike Right-of-Ways and drive for extended periods.
• Knowledge of Utility Vegetation Management practices.
• Experience with GIS software and Microsoft Office on iPhone.
• Able to work alone outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Safely drive to work sites and hike ROWs up to 10 miles per day.
• Inspect and document vegetation work at customer properties.
• Communicate with leadership, auditors, clients, contractors, and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
