Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Distribution Work Planner to join our Bethlehem, PA field team. This outdoor, fast-paced role involves planning vegetation management work, coordinating crews, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance for utility clients.

You will drive to sites, hike ROWs, document field work, and use GIS software and tablets to record data. Strong communication and problem solving are essential, with the ability to work independently in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Able to solve problems and multi-task in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
• Comfort working independently and in varying weather conditions.
• Experience with vegetation management or utility vegetation programs is preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and incidents; follow safety standards.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles per day; document vegetation work.
• Inspect and record vegetation work using tablets and specialized software.
• Plan aerial saw work and audit contractor work for compliance with specifications.
• Communicate with leadership, auditors, clients, contractors, landowners, and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
