Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Distribution Work Planner to join our vegetation management team. The role emphasizes safety, field data collection, and efficient field operations in outdoor environments across utility corridors.

Ideal candidates will have GIS familiarity, tablet-based data entry experience, and the ability to work independently in dynamic conditions while maintaining strong communication with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience using GIS software for vegetation management data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using tablets and specialized vegetation-management software.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and report incidents in the field.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles per day.
• Inspect and document vegetation work and data entry with field software.
• Coordinate with team, clients, and stakeholders to address concerns.
• Assist with emergency response duties as needed.
