Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to support safe, efficient operation of equipment and utility systems in a fast-paced production environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, practical experience with utility systems, mechanical aptitude, and strong communication.

You will operate loaders and small equipment, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and monitor system performance to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating utility systems preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
  • Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
  • Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
  • Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist with additional duties as required.
