Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to support fast-paced production operations, including loading, equipment maintenance, and efficiency tuning on utility systems across North America.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and teamwork across sites, with hands-on duties such as operating loaders and performing ground work, plus preventative maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies
• Assist with additional duties as required
