Quality Talent Group seeks a Utility Operator for a fast-paced construction environment in Maryland. The role involves operating loader, backhoe, and skid steer to support safe and efficient utility system operations on site.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude, ability to read technical manuals and schematics, and strong safety awareness. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with duties as needed, and contribute to a clean, productive site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
