Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to support safe and efficient operation of loader, backhoe, skid steer and utility systems in a fast-paced construction setting across North America. The role involves groundwork, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, read manuals and schematics, and demonstrate strong safety and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
