Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Willingness to work day, evening, and night shifts; standby rotation included.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds daily.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair city water and wastewater systems.
• Locate, investigate, and repair interruptions; respond to service calls.
• Perform water quality and dead‑end main flushing to resolve issues.
• Operate specialized machines; set up safety and traffic controls.
• Prepare daily worksheets and close‑out work orders.
• Work in confined spaces, on steep slopes, wet areas, or areas submerged.
• Schedule includes day, evening, night shifts and standby rotation.
