Job summary

Gfoat is seeking a non-supervisory technician to maintain and repair water lines, taps, and meters in the Public Works Utility Department in Texas. Responsibilities include installing valves, taps, and tie-ons, and maintaining fire hydrants in a team setting. The role is essential and subject to emergency call-outs.

Applicants must hold a valid Texas Class C license with the ability to obtain a Texas Class B CDL with tanker endorsement. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety regulations for utility maintenance work.
• Experience with pumps, generators, backhoes, dump trucks and sewer jet machines.
• Working knowledge of hand tools required.
• Ability to read maps and drawings.
