ACRT, Inc. is seeking energetic forestry professionals for a full-time Consulting Utility Forester role. The position supports identification, inspection, and evaluation of trees along utility corridors and coordinating line clearance crews with clients.

The role requires a degree in forestry or related field or equivalent experience, plus strong communication and GIS/data skills. Qualifications emphasize independent work across a geographic area and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in forestry, horticulture, environment, or closely related field is required or in lieu of degree, 2 years of related experience.
• ISA credentials are preferred for progression and specializations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
• Plan and coordinate activities of tree clearance crews and negotiate access.
• Serve as liaison between clients, crews, and customers.
