Job summary

Barriere Construction is hiring a Utility Leadman in Louisiana to support field crews on heavy civil projects. You will trench, lay water and sewer lines, and assist the Foreman with daily tasks while ensuring safety and quality on site.

The role requires 1 year of pipelaying experience, with preference for 2 years. Strong teamwork, organization, and communication are essential, along with familiarity with site software and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches and grade to place pipe.
• Set up pipe laser and lay water, sewer, and drainage pipe.
• Cut, fit and seal various types of pipe.
• Interpret production targets and schedules.
• Lead TAR meetings with crew.
• Direct crew in absence of Foreman to meet productivity goals.
• Communicate with owner representatives and maintain safety and housekeeping on site.
